The café is the brainchild of couple Sam and Nadine, who set out to build something more than just a place to grab a flat white. The space reflects that ambition, blending contemporary design with a distinctly gothic edge. On the coffee front, Mourning Roast punches above its weight. The house espresso blend sits at the heart of the menu, alongside batch brew, cold brew, and a single-origin option sourced through Brisbane-based roaster Black Mass Roasters.
