Authentic Sri Lankan Cuisine Arrives in Stones Corner with Walkway to Ceylon

Walkway to Ceylon, a new Sri Lankan restaurant in Stones Corner, has officially opened, offering a menu inspired by the success of the popular food truck, Cafe 299.

With over 160,000 Sri Lankan diaspora in Australia, Sri Lankan cuisine has stayed rather underrepresented in Brisbane’s food scene. Acknowledging this disparity, husband-and-wife team Sam Weerappuli and Nirosha Jayasekara opened Cafe 299 as a food truck in 2020.
